Located in Los Angeles, California, Loyola Marymount University is a private university with a proud history that dates back to 1911. It is home to 6,999 students. LMU's Raise the Standard Tip Off event is a fundraiser created to drive interest in their athletics programs while raising money to renovate their basketball arena, Gersten Pavilion
In speaking with Lisa Jackson, Director of Special Events,
about the event and the Circle Extendo® they used for their invitation she
described looking for something that would pique the interest of their target
market right from the start. Lisa viewed the die cut circle that slides across
the face as the perfect representation of a basketball moving from one side of
the court to the other. The hidden panels that reveal after the tab is pulled
gave LMU plenty of space to display their message.
