When asked why he chose Red Paper Plane for a recent client project, Evan Wolff of AICPA said it’s because the unique templates make a brand stand out.
Evan, who has printed successful projects with Red Paper Plane before, said his team was assigned to design a piece for AICPA that was meant to keep educators and students engaged with the accounting profession. What originally began as a print piece for high school students, eventually evolved into multiple versions targeted toward the needs and interests of a diverse set of audiences.
“We have printed successful projects with RedPaperPlane.com in the past and have always been impressed with the wide selection of creative pieces available,” Evan said. “When this project came up, it’s one of the first places we looked. We feel the unique designs help us stand out and get us noticed.”
After perusing more than a dozen customizable templates on RedPaperPlane.com, Evan and his team finally landed on the Large Exploding Page and decided it would provide just the effect they were looking for. The exploding page mails flat but, upon opening, expands to twice its original size.
“To keep educators and students engaged with the accounting profession, we like to switch up the forms of print promotions that we do,” Evan said. “We liked the Exploding Page as it allowed us plenty of space in the layout but also encompassed a level of interactivity.”
The piece was originally designed as a print piece for high school students to learn about accounting at a high level and was appealing because it was “more dynamic than a standard flyer.” However, because the piece was so successful, Evan and his team decided to develop multiple iterations, some used at conferences and sent directly to high school educators, others which were distributed to influencers in the community college space.
Pleased with the piece, Evan said Red Paper Plane will continue to stand out in his mind when it comes to designing future pieces.
“We like that with RedPaperPlane.com you get instantaneous pricing,” he said. “If you find a design you like, the tool to get per unit cost is conveniently right next to it on the same webpage. When we needed more details, we reached out to customer service and [received] quick responses. Since we had multiple versions, the customer service team suggested we send the print files to them and they would upload our art and prepare our files, saving us time. We were very pleased.”
